Diana Lee Hester, age 83, of Springfield, Illinois, passed on July 3, 2023, with her loving family by her side while her husband, Bill and her beloved cat, Muffin, awaited her arrival in Heaven. Diana graduated from Springfield High School in 1958, along with Bill, and they were married on December 26, 1960. Diana worked for Rochester Schools and finished her career, after 31 years, with the Illinois State Police.
Diana is survived by her daughters, Debbie Claypool (husband, Terry); and Kim Nolen (husband, Brent); grandchildren, Shannon Fulgenzi (husband, Joel), Alix Evans (husband, Derik), Paige Brown (husband, Dustin), Trent Nolen (wife, Emily), and Amanda Snyder (husband, Brody); and five great-grandchildren.
