She was born on July 12, 1952, in Springfield, IL, the daughter of Alfred and Dorothy (Feldworth) Rogers.
Diane graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in 1970, and went on to enjoy a long and dedicated career as an accounting supervisor for the State of Illinois. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Diane cherished the friendships and special memories she made throughout her life.
She was a founding member of the “Cookie Club,” a close-knit group of friends who shared many years of laughter, friendship, and fun. Diane enjoyed listening to music, especially the Beatles, traveling, watching her favorite television shows, and playing card games. She treasured the simple pleasures in life and the time spent with those closest to her.
She was preceded by her parents, Alfred and Dorothy; brothers, Donald L., Michael D., and Daniel C. Rogers; and sister-in-law, Bernice Rogers.
Diane is survived by her siblings, Debra S. (Bill) Greenan, William D. Rogers, and Douglas L. (Chris) Rogers, all of Springfield, IL, Dennis S. (Carol) Rogers of Bloomington, IL, David B. (Jennifer) Rogers of Normal, IL, and Duane A. Rogers of Humble, TX; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Rogers of Pleasant Plains, IL; and over fifty nieces and nephews.
Visitation and Funeral Ceremony: The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 2, 2026, at Butler Funeral Home-Springfield, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield, IL 62703.
The Funeral Ceremony will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at Butler Funeral Home-Springfield, with Celebrant Judy Woerner officiating.
Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Springfield, IL.
