Dianne Dimond Koehne

Dianne was born March 14, 1952 in Springfield, the daughter of John and Patricia Hamrick Dimond.

Dianne was a graduate of Ursuline Academy. She was employed by the State of IL for 20 years doing clerical work and was a daycare provider for 18 years. Dianne enjoyed quilting, sewing, basket weaving, and making wonderful pies and chocolate chip cookies. Dianne was a member of local quilting circles and Mensa

She was preceded in death by her father, John Dimond; her step-father, Ralph Monaghan; and sister, Deborah Steinke.

She is survived by her mother, Patricia Monaghan of Springfield; one son, Philip Irwin of Saybrook, IL; two daughters, Stephanie (husband, Mike) Fletcher of Springfield and Megan Padfield of Auburn; two grandchildren, Elise Lomprez and Trinity Fletcher; four step-siblings; one aunt; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation and Graveside Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Monday, November 9, 2015 at Boardman-Smith Funeral Home, 800 South Grand Ave., West, Springfield. A Graveside Ceremony will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery with Celebrant Judy Woerner officiating.
