Donald Bartolomucci

Donald "Don" Bartolomucci, age 68, of Tunnel Hill, GA, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2010 at Hamilton Medical Center. Don was born December 10, 1941 in Springfield, the son of Tony and Anna Ciota Bartolomucci. He married Carol Lee Combs on April 20, 1963 at St. James Church in Riverton. He was the franchise owner of Service Masters. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Anna (Ciota) Bartolomucci; and a nephew, Alan Bartolomucci. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 47 years, Carol Combs Bartolomucci of Tunnel Hill; sons, Kevin Bartolomucci of Chattanooga, TN, and Randy Bartolomucci of Tunnel Hill; sister and brother-in-law, Eileen and Jerry Kuchar of Springfield, IL; brothers and sisters-in-law, Thomas "Tom" and Joanne Bartolomucci and William "Bill" and JoAnn Bartolomucci, all of Springfield; brothers-in-law, Bud (wife, Jan) Combs of Petersburg, Gary Combs of Taylorville, and Larry Combs of Springfield; sister in-law, Cheryl Combs-Herman of Riverton; grandchildren, Nicholas "Nick", Megan and Kristen "Krissy" Bartolomucci; mother-in-law, Eileen M. Combs of Riverton; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. The funeral ceremony will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 8, 2010 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, Rev. Msgr. Thomas P. Holinga, V.F. officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
