

Donald Aaron Moore, 83, of Riverton, died Friday, October 19, 2018. Donald was born on August 6, 1935, in Hartsburg, the son of Sam and Laura Moore. He married Carol Ann Gebhardt-Kincaid on July 27, 1991, in Springfield. Donald graduated from Tri-City High School. He was employed as an engineer at Illinois Bell and retired from Pacific Bell. Donald was a Worthy Past-President for the Fraternal Order of Eagles #4361 and held various offices in the organization. He enjoyed singing and playing the guitar and fiddle. Donald played in various bands in Illinois and California. He also enjoyed golfing, telling jokes, was an avid fisherman, and was a big St. Louis Cardinals fan. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Moore; and nephew, Robert Patrick. He is survived by his wife, Carol Ann Moore of Riverton; children, April Moore, Donald Moore II, Terry Moore, and Bryant Moore; step-children, Kathy Kincaid, Keith Kincaid, and Kurt Kincaid; seven grandchildren; sister, Carole Faye Patrick; and niece, Connie Frank. Cremation was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies. Memorial Gathering and Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m. on Friday, October 26, 2018, at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. A memorial ceremony will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Celebrant Judy Woerner officiating. Burial will follow at Mechanicsburg Cemetery.
