Mr. Orme was born in Springfield Nov. 4, 1934 the son of Thomas and Bertha Erton Orme. He was retired from Fiat-Allis Manufacturing and was a member of West Side Christian Church.
He is survived by his sister, Maxine (husband, Bruce) Voorhees of Springfield; nephews, Mark Voorhees of Springfield and Derek(wife, Nell) Voorhees of Hillsboro, OR.; great nephews, Dane and Dylan Voorhees and great niece Kaylee Voorhees.
Cremation rites will be accorded. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday Mar. 18, 2008 at Roselawn Memorial Park with Rev. Gary Winkleman officiating.
Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
