He was born in San Diego, CA November 4, 1955 the son of Donald L. and Dorlene J. (Hinson) Riedel. His parents, his sister, Debra Avey, his brother, Dennis and a nephew, David King all preceded him in death.
Don was very accomplished in technology. He worked as a bio medical electronics technician and then later retired from AT&T here he was an administrative Specialist. He also owned and operated Dr. P.C. Computer Service Co.
He enjoyed his family, neighbors and friends. He loved animals and especially his dogs.
Don is survived by his sister, Mary Jo Cornell of Athens, IL, three nieces; Samantha King, and Kayla (Andrew) Crum both of Springfield, and Krisondra Ushman of Athens, IL, and a nephew, Daniel Riedel of Springfield. There are several great nieces, nephews and cousins.
Arrangements are in the care of Bisch and Son Funeral Home. Cremation rites will be accorded. Private family services will be held.
