

Donna was born February 11, 1942, in Marion, IL, the daughter of George Edwin and Grethel Garnet Sullens Ford. She married Lionel Tyre Jackson on March 22, 1969, in Springfield; he preceded her in death on November 15, 2008.
Donna attended Sparks Business School in Shelbyville and was employed as a court reporter for the State of Illinois for 31 years, primarily with the Department of Public Health. She was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. Donna enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, reading, music, dancing, and playing cards.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Berna Dean Ford, Fern Bernhardt, and Betty Gottfried; and two brothers, Kenneth Ford and Richard Ford.
Donna is survived by her daughters, Hillary (Dustin) Yantis of Taylorville and Kimberly (Kevin) Arnold of Wentzville, MO; sister, Judy Mulvany of Salem; four step-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies.
A private burial was held at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
