Donna J. Murphy, 76, of Springfield, formerly of Loami, passed away at 10:50 p.m. on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Mill Creek Alzheimer Special Care Center. Donna was born on February 5, 1935 in Chatham, the daughter of William and Elsie Southard Rouland. She married Jim Murphy on July 3, 1952. Jim preceded her in death on December 1, 2000. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brother, Frank Kelley. She is survived by her daughter, Sheila (husband, Bill) Bishop of Springfield; two sisters, Helen Hartman of Loami and Deb Nowak of MO; brother, Paul Rouland of MO; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation and Funeral Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 1:00 until the time of the funeral ceremony at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 23, 2012 at McCullough-Delaney & Butler Funeral Home, 714 E. Gibson St., New Berlin with Rev. Warren Brosi officiating. Burial will follow at Sulphur Springs Cemetery in Loami.
