

Doris L. Green, 76, a resident of Springfield since 1963, passed away at 11:40 a.m., Sunday, August 5, 2001 at her residence. Doris was born October 3, 1924 the daughter of Elmer James and Laura Mae Foster Lanham. She married Maurice L. Green in 1945 and he preceded her in death in 1995. Doris worked as a secretary for Veterans of Foreign War and a member International Association of Administrative Professionals. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and a member of Knights of Columbus Council #364 Auxillary. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Raymond Lanham. She is survived by two sons: Robert (wife, Susan) Green of Englewood, CO, Steve (wife, Sharon) Green of Broomfield, CO; two daughters: Patricia (husband, Gary) Kuhlmann of Springfield, Barbara Green of Springfield; two sisters: Lois Rathke of Buffalo, NY, Eloise Smothers of Pensacola, FL; four grandchildren: Brian and Amy Green of Englewood, CO, Chris and Shawn Kuhlmann of Springfield and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home from 4-7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 9, 2001 with a wake service at 4:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 10, 2001 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Reverend Kevin Vann celebrant.
