Doris M. Young, 76, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2002 in Mesa, AZ at Lutheran Hospital. She was born February 17, 1925 the daughter of John and Mary Royc Ocepek in Springfield, IL. She married Arthur I. Young and he preceded her in death on June 6, 1997. Mrs. Young had worked for the State of Illinois Department of Revenue and retired from there in 1984 after 15 years of service. Her parents also preceded her in death. She is survived by a sister: Mary Lenz of Springfield, and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at Camp Butler National Cemetery on Friday, January 11, 2002 at 11 a.m. with the Very Rev. Kevin Vann officiating. The family of Doris M.
