Dorothy May Ingram, 92, of Crystal Lake, Illinois, formerly of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday January 29, 2013 at Sunrise Senior Living Center in Crystal Lake. She was born on September 27, 1920 to Henry Wragen and Lillian Edna Pickett Kemp. She married Melvin Blanton Ingram on March 16, 1945 in Springfield and he preceded her in death on July 14, 2007.
Mrs. Ingram is survived by her three daughters: Sharon, Bonnie, and Darlene, eight grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was a 1939 graduate of Springfield High School. She was a registered nurse and a homemaker. Dorothy and her husband previously resided in New Smyrna Beach, Florida and Barrington, Illinois.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday February 1, 2013 at Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 East Allen St., with burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
