

Edna Mae Punzak, 92, of Springfield, died at 10:58 a.m., Monday, January 10, 2005 at St. John’s Hospital ER. Edna was born January 31, 1912 in Springfield the daughter of Emil and Elizabeth List Adloff. She married Robert Cappellin; he preceded her in death in 1953. She later married Mike Punzak; he also preceded her in death in 1997. Mrs. Punzak was a secretary for Punzak Air Conditioning and Sales Company from 1958-1997. She was a former member of Kings Daughters Home, several bridge clubs and St. Agnes Catholic Church. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers. She is survived by three sons: Charles (wife, Norma) Cappellin of Springfield, Thomas (wife, Jana) Cappellin of New Berlin, WI, Stuart (wife, Beth) Cappellin of Springfield; eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; one niece and two nephews. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 13, 2005 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Peter C. Harman officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
