Kay was at Widji for many of the years I was there with my daughters. She was so upbeat, did great things for the girls and their camp. I loved visiting with her. Widji wasn’t quite the same when she wasn’t there. Please accept my condolences.

Kay was a true servant. I first met her with the Girl Scouts and then at CIVS. She was always kind, helpful and friendly. She will be truly missed.

It was my honor to work with Kay at Caregiver's Interfaith Volunteer Service (CIVS). When Kay called a senior she made a special phone friendship instantly. She understood their needs were beyond a ride to the doctor's office or minor home repair. She knew what was really important was that the senior had someone to talk to if there was something pressing on their mind. This service was never a job for Kay, it was her ministry.

Kay talked about her family often. She adored her children and grandchildren. She always felt her life was blessed with a wonderful family and friends. Her Faith was strong and she indeed put her "Faith in Action" which was the program affiliation of CIVS. We have all been blessed to have Kay in our lives.

Grace and Peace dear Kay!
I first met Kay when she was at the Girl Scout Camp, then met again as she upholstered my couch. I will cherish most, our years working together for Caregivers. Kay was the epitomy of a true caregiver, I believe that God had this calling in his great plan for Kay all along. Her heart was in answering this call from day one! As all of us co-ordinators of Caregivers know; she put her gifts to work everyday helping the many care receivers get their needs met. Kay will be missed by so many. May God's love and support continue to be with her family, friends. Grace, love and peace be with you my friend!

Kay taught me what hard work and perseverance looked like after a tragedy or loss. She was such a breath of fresh air during the summers at Camp Widji- she taught so many Girl Scouts about the great outdoors- what grand memories of her- my favorite was during summer staff training and cleaning out the mattresses and sleeping on one filled with a mouse nest she gave me my summer camp counselor name Mouse

My heart goes out to all Kay's family. She sure talked about all of you so much and loved you so much. What an honor it was to have had her in my life. She was the best Caregiver I have known. She gave her heart and soul to the Caregiver Program and had such faith and compassion for all of her receivers. May her soul rest in peace and someday we will meet again. Loved her.

Kay and I worked together at the Girl Scouts. She was the first and only female site manager I ever met. She was committed to making the camp a meaningful experience for the campers and took care of the buildings and grounds like they were her own - which they kinda were.

Kay was one of my favorite patients at Vision Care Associates. She never failed to make me smile and she was always so so nice!
