

Elizabeth P. Tamblin, 82, of Springfield, died at 5:02 a.m. on Friday, April 27, 2007 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born on February 5, 1925 in New Berlin, the daughter of Charles and Mary Hermes Fuchs. She married Walter Tamblin; he preceded her in death. Elizabeth was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Berlin. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and the Women’s Club in New Berlin. Elizabeth worked as a cook for the New Berlin School District. She loved to play bingo and also enjoyed card games. She was also preceded in death by three brothers: Joe Fuchs, Paul Fuchs and Ed Fuchs and four sisters: Mary Miller, Dorothy Finney, Rose Meier and Catherine Bierbaum. She is survived by two sons: Jim (wife, Juan) Tamblin and John (wife, Sandy) Tamblin all of Springfield; one grandson: Brian (wife, Shannon) Tamblin of Springfield; one brother: Tom (wife, Rosemary) Fuchs of Springfield; two sisters: Joanne Cisne of Jacksonville and Nancy Marr of New Berlin and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 29, 2007 at McCullough-Delaney and Butler Funeral Home, 714 E. Gibson St., New Berlin. Prayer Service will be held at 5:30 p.m. with Rev. Angel Sierra officiating. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 30, 2007 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 306 E.
