

He was born in Springfield on April 10, 1943, the son of Ernest A. and Mary V. Sheppard Good.
Ernest entered the Army during the Vietnam War and earned the US Army Air Medal among many decorations and ribbons. He had worked at Penske Automotive and was currently employed as an operator for Island Grove Township. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, building hotrods or working on anything that had an engine.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Joyce Runyon.
He is survived by three children, Carolie (husband, Jeremy) Carter of Berlin, Stuart (wife, Tammy) Good of Waverly, and Matthew (wife, Karyn) Good of Berlin; grandchildren, Joseph, Ryleigh, and Fischer Carter, Mikia Henson, and Megan (companion, Benjamin Walls) Henson; great-grandchild, Kambel Walls; brother, Albert A. Good of New Berlin; one niece, Ronda Bradley; two nephews, Carl and Tony Good; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2009 at McCullough-Delaney and Butler Funeral Home, 714 E. Gibson, New Berlin.
Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center following visitation.
