

Eunice was born July 6, 1932, in Mission, TX, the daughter of Jacob and Mable (Eckroat) Rumery. She married Myron G. Moore on June 1, 1950, in Coffeen, IL; he preceded her in death on July 23, 2019.
A graduate of Coffeen High School, Eunice was employed as a cook for several years at Calvary Church. She had also worked as an assistant activity director at Springfield Manor. Eunice was a member of Calvary Church where she sang in the choir and volunteered her time with nursing home and prison ministries. She and her husband were founding members of the Prop Club. Eunice also participated in the Red Hat Society and volunteered at St. John’s Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Myron Kyle Moore; daughter, Brenda Moore; and two sisters, Rosemarie Horn and Jackie Partlow.
Eunice is survived by two daughters, Tamara Moore of Springfield and Charlene (James) Mathes of Springfield; two grandchildren, Eric (Machelle) Settles of Urbana and Michael Settles of Springfield; six great-grandchildren, Jonas, Elijiah, Isabella and Levi Settles, and Izik and Malachi Settles; and a sister, Yvonne Edwards of San Antonio, TX.
Private ceremonies and burial will be held at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
