Evelyne Ann Traeger

Evelyne Ann Traeger, 89, of Springfield, passed away at 11:10 p.m. on Monday, November 30, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born November 11, 1926 in LaSalle Peru, IL to Alma and Albert Traeger. She graduated from Feitshans High School in 1944. She was employed by Pehlman & Dold, CPA until her retirement in 1991. She was an avid horse enthusiast and St. Louis Cardinals fan. She also bowled in many leagues and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Otto, Charles, Ralph, and Albert Traeger; two sisters, Alma Abbott and Shirley Ross; and one nephew, Blaine Ross. She is survived by one brother, Raymond (wife, Helen) Traeger; eight nieces; and five nephews. Visitation: Family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. on Monday, December 7, 2015 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 2744 W. Washington St., Springfield, IL 62702. Funeral Ceremony: 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 7, 2015 at St. John's Lutheran Church with Pastors Greg Busboom and Ladd Sonnenberg officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
