Florence M. "Margaret" Crady

She was born on December 14, 1927 in Des Moines, Iowa to Gerald and Bertha (Frye) Tufts. In 1948 she married James Crady, who would be her faithful and loving husband for 72 years. Together they had five children and eight grandchildren.

Margaret was survived by her husband, James, her children: Judy (Tom) Blalock, Steve (Cheryl) Crady, Don (Michele) Crady, and Dennis (Pam) Crady, her 6 grandchildren: Jayson Crady, Kellee (Grant) Keys, Kendra (Rich) Blalock, Lesli (Ian) Dean, Robert (Angela) Crady and Sarah (Dan) Blalock and her 8 great grandchildren: Ezra, Evie, Elias, Eden, Olivia, Ava, Liam and Lyla. Her brother, Robert (Gerry) Tufts and her sister, Jeanette (Bob) Fay and several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. She was preceded in death and will be met in heaven by her parents, her daughter, Susan Christina Crady, her brother, Gerald Tufts Jr., her sister, Delores Duffey and two daughters-in-law, Roselee and Joyce Crady.

Margaret served with her husband as a missionary to Brazil for many years before she began work with the State of Illinois Department of Corrections where she retired.

Margaret loved the Lord, her husband and her family dearly. She was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.

Visitation and Service: The family will greet friends and family at Bisch Funeral Home West 2931 S. Koke Mill Rd. Springfield on Thursday, April 21, 2022 from 10:00 am until the time of a funeral service at 11:00 am. Pastor Gary Gilley will officiate. Burial will be private in Roselawn Memorial Park.
