Frances I. Naugle

She was born on June 25, 1930 in Middletown, IL, the daughter of the late George Morris and Margaret Irene (Kattner) Snyder. She married Robert L. Naugle on August 27, 1957 in Alton, IL, and he survives.

Frances worked as an office clerk for IL Meter Co. She was a member of Harvard Park Baptist Church in Springfield and she enjoyed sewing and gardening.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Carol Carbiener of Zion, IL, Nancy (husband Ralph) Grant of Petersburg, IL, Glen (wife Debbie) Naugle of Springfield, and Dean Naugle of Springfield; 6 granddaughters; 1 grandson; 6 great-grandsons; 2 great-granddaughters; and her sister Margaret Browne of Maryland Heights, MO.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 E. Allen, Springfield. Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. No services are scheduled at this time.

Her family would like to offer a special “thank you” to St. John’s Home Health and Home Hospice, and the staff at the Oncology department and the Infusion Center at Simmon’s Cancer Institute in Springfield for the wonderful care they provided her.
