

Frank Allen Rynders, 55, of Springfield died at 4:45 a.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at his residence. Frank was born October 1, 1952 in Springfield, the son of Orville Miller and Ina Delay. He married Mary Hennessey on August 19, 2005 in Springfield. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many, Frank was a Medical Technician before retiring from Memorial Medical Center. Frank had earlier been a security guard at Sangamon County Jail and Memorial Medical Center. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and riding motorcycles. Frank was a fan of all types of music and enjoyed trading things and making crafts. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Walt Rynders and Bob Rynders; and his sister Alice White. Frank is survived by his wife, Mary Rynders of Springfield; a daughter; Shannon Rynders of Glenarm; and step-daughter Amanda (husband, Pat) James of Greenview. Two step-sons, Phillip Watson and Benjamin Watson both of Springfield; three grandchildren, Isabelle Rynders, Mathew Paul James, Emily Kay James; and soon a fourth grandchild, Gabriel Allen Rynders-Coughlin; two sisters, Georgia Jean Mann and Hilda (fiancé, Bob) Britz both of Missouri; and two brothers, Raymond Brown of Chatham and Kenny Brown of Loami. Friends may visit from 5–8 p.m. on Thursday, November 15, 2007 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Funeral ceremonies will be held at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home on Friday, November 16, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. with Scott Brindley officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
