Gail E. Neal, 52, of Springfield, died at 6:16 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at St. John's Hospice. Gail was born February 19, 1960 in Smyrna, TN, the daughter of Robert and Judy Robinson Walden. She married Meirl Gilbert Neal on August 28, 1999 in Springfield. Gail worked at Precision Products as a machine operator and loved to dance. She was a wonderful, caring, and giving person who worried about everyone but herself. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Walden and her twin brother, Dale Walden. She is survived by her husband, Meirl Neal of Springfield; one daughter, Jami Simmons of Springfield; three grandchildren, Kira, Ariel and Justin Simmons, Jr., all of Springfield; three siblings, Teri (Mike) Brimberry and Bobby (Eleanor) Walden, both of Mt. Olive, NC, and Ken (Kelly) Walden of Carlinville; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies. Memorial Gathering: Family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield.
