Gary Lee Behl

Gary was born April 24, 1970, in Springfield, the son of Charles Weishaupt and Bonnie Behl.

He was employed at Lincoln Land Community College. Gary enjoyed his motorcycle, loud music, bass fishing, and had a huge love for his dogs.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Joseph Klauzer.

He is survived by his children, Amber Weller and Christopher (Lauren Atwood) Behl, both of Springfield; grandchildren, Jackson and Spencer Weller, Talon Behl, and one on the way, Barrett Behl; brother, Albert (Marci) Klauzer of Normal; significant other, Jennifer Porzelius of Springfield; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation: Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at Boardman-Smith Funeral Home, 800 South Grand Avenue West, Springfield, IL.

Funeral Ceremony: 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Boardman-Smith Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
