George Kenneth Judd Jr.
August 24, 1928 – September 28, 2017
Springfield, IL-George Kenneth “Kenny” Judd, Jr., 89, a lifelong resident of Springfield, passed away at 3:04 pm Thursday, September, 28, 2017 at Concordia Village.
Kenny was born August 24, 1928 the son of George Kenneth and Helen (Robb) Judd Sr. He married Anna M. Hayden in Springfield, March 5, 1949 and she preceded him in death September 5, 2016. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Gerald L. Judd, and Donald Judd, and his sister, Eleanor Richter Kenny was vice-president at Booth and Thomas Plumbing and Heating Wholesale Supply who merged with King-Piper. He retired from there and then worked part time at S&K Pontiac-Buick. He was an active and devoted member of Tyrian Lodge 333 AF&AM, the Ansar Shrine, Springfield Consistory, Scottish Rite, Legion of Honor, Jesters CT 20 and served as Potentate in 1983. He was a dedicated NASCAR and Sprint Car racing fan for many years.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews, as well as many friends. The family wishes to express great thanks and gratitude to the Concordia Assisted Living and REACH Program as well as Janet Ziegler, RN.
Visitation and Service: The Judd family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 11:30 am Wednesday, Oct 4, 2017 at Bisch Funeral Home West 2931 S. Koke Mill Rd. Springfield. Tyrian Lodge #333 AF&AM will conduct masonic rites at 11:30 am at the funeral home. The funeral service will follow with Rev. Vaughn Beeman officiating.
Burial will follow in Old Salem Cemetery, west of Springfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Shriners Hospital for Children 4400 Clayton Ave. St. Louis, MO 63110 Bisch Funeral Home West is honored to serve the family of Kenny Judd. 544-5424

I'm so sorry for the family's loss.
Ken and I friends for over 60 years, we fish, hunt, water ski, and drank miller together. Both he Ann were great Americans.
