Georgia N Hermann, 85 of Boca Raton, FL, formerly of Springfield, died on Tuesday, January 5, 2010. Surviving is her only child, Jana Schaefer, son –in law, Tom Schaefer and grandson Nicholas Schaefer. Her husband, Sydney L Hermann died in 1972.
Georgia was employed at S A Barker Company for 40 years as buyer. She retired in 1989 and moved to Florida to be with her family. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church when she lived in Springfield.
Visitation will be held from 10:30 AM until the funeral service at 11:30 AM Saturday, January 9, 2010 at Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel. Private burial will be in Laurel Cemetery in Havana, IL.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital or the Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
