She was born on February 21, 1941 in Hammond, IN, the daughter of the late Charles Colin and Nona (Morris) Grimes. She married Kenneth Pedigo on October 22, 1966 in Springfield and he survives.
Georgia worked in the mailroom for Foster Gallagher. She enjoyed doing cross-stitch and puzzles.
Besides her husband Kenneth, she is survived by 2 sons, Michael (wife Sharon) Pedigo of Blue Springs, MO, and Anthony (wife Valerie) Pedigo of Dallas City, IL; 3 grandchildren, Jordan Pedigo, Logan Pedigo, and Laura Pedigo; a brother Charles (wife Lorraine) Grimes, Jr. of Florida; a sister Nancy Cappetta of Florida; and nieces and nephew.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bisch Funeral Home West, Springfield. Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024 at 1 pm at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield.
