Dana was born February 3, 1932, in Detroit, MI, the daughter of George and Rose Nader Raleeh. She married Kenneth William Kirbach on August 1, 1953, in Washington, D.C.; he preceded her in death on May 19, 2005.
Dana graduated from St. Martin High School in Detroit, MI. She and her husband were co-owners of Springfield Construction Company for twenty-two years and the Jefferson West Mini-Storage facility. Dana enjoyed exercising with her dear friend, Sue Owens. She was also a great cook and enjoyed being around her family.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Raleeh; and sisters, Ann Milton, Carema Kime, and Theresa Evola.
Dana is survived by her sons, Robert (Kaila) Kirbach and William Kirbach; daughter, Kathy (Scott) Elcher; grandchildren, Kyleigh Kirbach, Jenna Kirbach, Alexandria (Trey) Dhabalt, Marc Kirbach, and Paige (Earl) Greene; great-grandchildren, Hudson Greene, Lennon Dhabalt, Avion and Brinley Kirbach-Howell; sisters, Victoria Laux and Rose (Joseph) Pizzo; and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies.
Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 245 N. Amos Ave., Springfield, IL with Rev. Daniel J. Bergbower, celebrant.
Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
