Geraldine P. Connors, 103, of Springfield, died at 5:10 a.m. Sunday, April 20, 2003 at St. John’s Hospital Geraldine was born September 13, 1899 in Springfield, the daughter of Aiden and Lizzie Fitzgerald McCann. She married William Connors; he preceded her in death. Mrs. Connors was owner and operator of a Dance Accessory Shop. She was affiliated with Jo and Joey Mack School of Dance. She was also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was also preceded in death by her parents, daughter Betty Jo Mack Witwer and sister, Genevieva McCann She is survived by one grandson: Gerald “Jerry” (wife, Ann) Mack of Springfield; four great grandchildren and one niece Raymunda Merrill of Springfield. Burial will be at Camp Butler National Cemetery. The family of Geraldine P. Connors is being served by Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home 900 S. 6th St., Springfield.
