Gladys Marie Britz-Corea

Gladys Marie Britz-Corea, 77, of Buffalo, died at 11:25 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2003 at Memorial Medical Center. Gladys was born October 9, 1925 in Springfield the daughter of John M. and Marie Miller Britz. Mrs. Corea was employed at Memorial Medical Center as a Certified Nurses Assistant. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Evelyn Flemming, Adaline Fowler and Wanda McPeek. She is survived by her son: George Corea of Buffalo; two grandchildren: John Edward (wife, Leah) Corea of Columbus, OH, Erin Elizabeth Corea of Lewiston; three great grandchildren: Sabra, Tess and Regan; one sister: Betty Wessing of FL; two brothers; Jack (wife, Frieda) Britz of Cantral, Jim (wife, Betsy) Britz of Springfield and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home from 5-8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 2003. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2003 at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception with Rev. Msgr. John R. Ossola celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
