Glenna Sue Ballard

Glenna was born June 25, 1942 in Springfield, the daughter of Roy and Betty Tobias Vaughn. She married Melvin Ballard on December 15, 1962 in Springfield.

Glenna graduated from Feitshans High School in 1960. She was employed with several local businesses, including Roberts Brothers, Dr. James Davis Dental Office, Complete Care Pharmacy, and St. Johns Lutheran Church as a pre-school aide. Glenna was an artist and enjoyed collecting knick-knacks, crocheting and creating banners for the church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Chris ONeil.

She is survived by her husband, Melvin Ballard of Chatham; son, Kent (wife, Elizabeth) Ballard of Chatham; daughters, Melinda Ballard of Chatham and Melissa (husband, Gary) Shipley of New Berlin; sisters, Donna Vaughn of Springfield and Kay ONeil of Billings, MT; and three nephews, Jimmie, Mike and Garrett ONeil.

Private family ceremonies were held.
