Gordon Kay Robinson, 82, of Springfield, passed away at 4:05 p.m. on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at his home. Gordon was born September 27, 1928 in Cherokee, IA, the son of Alonzo and Daisy McCabe Robinson. He married Rosemary Malay on August 31, 1957 in Dixon, IL. Gordon was a graduate of Elgin Watchmaker College. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Robinson of Springfield; children, Lonnie Robinson (wife, Anna) of Danville, CA, Mary Kay (husband, Richard) Habel of Maryland and William Robinson (wife, Sharon) of Springfield; seven grandchildren; and one brother, Gary Robinson of Livermore, CA. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center. Memorial contributions may be made to: St. Cabrini Catholic Church, 1020 N.
