Gracia Wallenstein

She was born on August 25, 1940, in Wichita, KS, the daughter of Paul and Rosemary (Schroer) Lamberson. Gracia married John Wallenstein on December 22, 1974, in Wichita, KS. He preceded her in death, on August 7, 2014.

Gracia graduated from high school in Wichita, KS and attended continued education classes for orthodontics. She went on to work in the dental/orthodontist field, retiring after over 20 years of service with McDaniel & Sternstein Orthodontics. Gracia was a member of the Springfield community for 40 years. She was a devoted mother, wife, and grandmother who enjoyed cross stitching, baking, sewing, and crafts. Gracia was a strong woman, and along with her husband, John, raised her three girls.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Lamberson; and son-in-law, Brian Rogers.

Gracia is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Vossman of Springfield, Kimberly Norris and her children, Devon, Erin, and Shane of San Clemente, CA, and Debra (Darren) Brodie and her children, Kelsey and Mason (Julia) of Rogers, AR; siblings, Mary (Rob) Schutt of Boise, ID and Dave (Sue) Lamberson of Clearwater, KS; and son-in-law and friend, Steve Norris.

The family would like to thank the special ladies that took good care of her at the Villas of Hollybrook in Springfield.

Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.

Memorial Ceremony and Gathering: 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2024, at Butler Funeral Home - Springfield, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. A Gathering will follow until 7:00 p.m.
