Grant Mark Blaylock, 21, of Springfield, passed away at 1:40 p.m. November 8, 2001 at Memorial Medical Center due to injuries from a motorcycle accident. Grant was born August 16, 1980 the son of Robert G. and Lois A. Brackenhoff Blaylock in Springfield. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He enjoyed life and was loved by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Mary Meyerhofer. He is survived by his parents: Robert and Lois Blaylock; two sisters: Elizabeth Blaylock of Springfield, Kimberly Blaylock of New York, NY; one grandmother: Mildred Burrow; two aunts: Gail (husband, John) Johnson of Spokane, WA, Jean (husband, John) Williams of Springfield; three uncles: Don (wife, Darby) Brackenhoff) of Farmer City, IL, Larry Brackenhoff of Denver, CO, Ken (wife, Mary) Brackenhoff of Hunting Beach, CA and several cousins. Memorial services will be at 4:00 p.m. November 11, 2001 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home with Reverend Thomas Radtke officiating.
