Harold "Hal" Patterson

Hal was born August 19, 1937, in Jacksonville, IL, the son of Harold H. Sr. and Louise B. Porter Patterson. He married Aline Marcia Whitney on April 11, 1979, in Springfield.

Hal proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and earned his bachelor’s degree. He was employed as an agency operation representative with Great American Insurance Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Hal is survived by his wife, Aline Patterson of Springfield; sons, Harold H. Patterson, III, Michael Patterson, and Daniel Patterson, all of Springfield; and two grandchildren.

Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.

Private Family Ceremonies will be held.
