Harold E. Rogers, 83, life-long resident of New Berlin, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2009 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. Harold was born February 9, 1926 in Springfield, the son of Finis and Susie Kern Rogers. Preceding Harold in death are his brother, Kenneth Rogers and his parents. He is survived by his sister, Shirley J. (husband, Richard) Clark of New Berlin; sister-in-law, Emma Rogers of Rockford; three nieces, Susan (husband, Ted) Farley, Sherry (husband, Nick) Fafoglia, and Terri (husband, Mike) Rogers; one nephew, Rich (wife, Gail) Clark; and several great nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of funeral ceremony at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. August 1, 2009 at McCullough-Delaney and Butler Funeral Home, 714 E. Gibson St., New Berlin with Rev. Daniel Holland officiating. Burial will follow at Wood Wreath Cemetery in Island Grove Township.
