Helen Rose Hart, 89, of Springfield, passed away at 6:57 a.m. on April 18, 2010 at Memorial Medical Center. Helen was born January 15, 1921 in Springfield, the daughter of James J. and Mary Ann O’Brien Hart. Helen graduated from Ursuline Academy and earned her Associate’s Degree from Springfield College. She was a very devout Catholic and was a member of Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Church. She was also a member of the Western Catholic Union. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Mary Hart and some cousins. Helen is survived by several cousins. Graveside ceremonies will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. at Calvary Cemetery with Rev. Peter C. Harman officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
