

Louise was born on December 17, 1927, in Springfield, the daughter of Bert Sr. and Mary (Shrake) Viola. She married Norman E. “Speed” Reeves on May 18, 1946, in Springfield; he preceded her in death on June 5, 2019.
Louise spent her life as a homemaker, taking care of her family. She enjoyed cooking and was known for her Italian dishes. She also enjoyed dancing, garage sales, and attending auctions with her husband.
Louise was also preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Florence Coady and Josephine Beechler.
She is survived by her two daughters, JoAnn (husband, Paul) Emmons of Springfield and Norma Jean Reeves of Springfield; four grandchildren, David (wife, Chris) Emmons, Michelle (husband, Danny) Russell, Angela (husband, J.D.) Stephenson, and Brandon Marcy; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Bert Viola, Jr. and Joyce Shepherd; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Private family burial will be held at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
