

Helen L. Schultz was born August 16, 1924 and died at Lewis Memorial Christian Village on February 27, 2013. She was the daughter of Gus and Helen Marie Bullock Kimball. She married Marvin L. Schultz on February 23, 1946; he preceded her in death on October 23, 2008. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Kimball. She is survived by her four daughters, Marvalee J. Schultz, Nancy (George) Jacaway, Jr., Sue (Don) Miskell and Tricia (Dave) Link. She was a proud grandmother to Jill Flavin; George (Gina) Jacaway, III; Benjamin Formea, Chad (Tracy) Formea, Cory (Jessie) Formea, Ryan (Jacqui) Link; and Tyler Link. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Cody and Luke Flavin; Will and Carter Formea; Reagan and Cooper Formea, George E. Jacaway, IV and Helena and Jaxon Link. She is also survived by her siblings Gus and John Kimball, and Shirley Wright. Helen was a homemaker with a great sense of humor that remained with her through her final days. She loved spending time with her family and supporting her grandchildren in all of their activities. She was an avid sports fan; her favorite athlete was her husband, Marvin. Helen loved to dance, bake, and was known to provide a dessert after every meal. Visitation: Family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. Funeral Ceremony: 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 4, 2013 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home with Dr. Paul Boatman officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
