Helen Louise Stone

She was born Dec. 13,1915 in Watseka the daughter of Everett Ray and Hazel Torbet Meddish. She married George R. Stone in 1946 in Pontiac and he preceded her in death in 1970. She was also preceded in death by her sister Bonnie Vreeland in 2006.

She was a graduate of Watseka High School. She was employed as the Cigar Stand Manager at the Abraham Lincoln Hotel and was an accountant for the Veterans of Foreign Wars, both in Springfield. After retirement she and her sister Bonnie moved to Sebring,FL. where she resided for 15 years until moving to Bend,OR. in 2002 to be near her brother and sister-in-law.

She is survived by a brother Richard R. Meddish(wife,Donna) of Bend,OR.
