Hugh Gene Brady, III

Hugh Gene Brady III, 65, of Springfield, died on Sunday, January 9, 2011. Hugh was born August 10, 1945, the son of Hugh and Ruth (Hunt) Brady II. He married Rita Morgan in Springfield in 1976. Hugh was a graduate of Springfield High School. He was the proprietor of The Nitemare Gift Shop in Salisbury and was a vendor at Farmers Markets. He retired as a cable TV contractor and was an Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his sons, Hugh Gene IV and James Adam Brady. He is survived by his wife, Rita Morgan Brady; daughter, Patti (Brent) Brady-McRae; sister, Peggy (Steve) Bartnick; niece, Michelle (Phil) Squires; great-niece, Mariah; great-nephew, Jared and mother-in-law, Margaret Morgan. Family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. A funeral ceremony, Liturgy of the Word will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 14, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1345 N. 6th St., Springfield, with Rev. Msgr. Thomas P. Holinga, V.F. officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: James A.
