

Jim was born on September 19, 1952 in Chatham, the son of Robert and Verna McKnight Hoskinson. He married Muffn M. Hogan on August 28, 2010 in Springfield.
Jim attended Glenwood High School. He was a truck driver for 25 years, presently with Donley Trucking in Williamsville. Jim was a Lieutenant with the Chatham Volunteer Fire Department for 11-12 years. Through the years, Jim was a member of the Red Knights, Chapter 10 Motorcycle Club, and Lincoln Land A.B.A.T.E. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, James Donald Hoskinson; and three siblings, Kathy Nunes, Peggy Hoskinson, and John Hoskinson.
He is survived by his wife, Muffn M. Hogan-Hoskinson of Riverton; three children, James W. (wife, Tara) Hoskinson of Chatham, Andrea (Chad LeSeure) Hoskinson of Chatham, and Robert “Bob” Parrish of Lenoir, NC; and step daughter, Angela (husband, Ian) Coe of Riverton; four grandchildren, Isaac Frank and Claire, Alice, and Sylvia Hoskinson; two step-grandchildren, Austin and Savannah Rodgers; and two step-great-grandchildren, Jaxx Rodgers and Chance Lacy; one great-grandchild, Lennox Frank; one sister, Donna (husband, Joe) Bowen of Andrew, IL; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 6, 2021 at Butler Funeral Home-Chatham, 8855 State Rt. 4, Chatham.
Funeral Ceremony: 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Butler Funeral Home-Chatham with Celebrant Judy Woerner officiating. Burial will follow at Chatham Memorial Cemetery.
