He was born on November 29, 1947 in Sedalia, MO, the son of the late Calub McNulty and Juanita (Brown) Pennington.
Jim was a self-employed carpenter and was a former member of the VFW. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war era.
He is survived by his sister Ella “Dollie” Hayes of Sedalia, MO, his best friend Sharon (husband Hay Brown) Dorrell of Springfield, and a daughter Angie (husband Mark Rogers) Bulkley of Phoenix, AZ, and 2 granddaughters, Andrea Riedy and Audrey Bulkley.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Debbie McNulty.
Local arrangements are under the direction of Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 E. Allen, Springfield. Per his wishes, cremation rites were accorded. A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 10 am at Province Baptist Church Cemetery, North 135, Sedalia, MO.
