James F. Masterson II, 47 of Arlington, TX, formerly of Springfield, died at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 25, 2004 in Arlington. James was born March 18, 1957 in Springfield, the son of James F. and Bobbie Monahan Masterson. He married Brende Masterson in 1992. Mr. Masterson was employed in the automotive air-conditioning industry for 26 years. He had been a resident of Arlington, TX for twenty years and was very active in several sports, including baseball and basketball. He is survived by his wife; Brende Masterson of Arlington, TX; one daughter: Kristen Masterson of Fairfield, CT; one step daughter: Stephanie Papilaris of Arlington, TX; father: James F. (wife, Judy) Masterson; mother: Bobbie (husband, J.R.) Wainright; two sisters: Mary Kay Fritz and Kim Swanson; three brothers: Dan, Steve and Rob Masterson and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, April 2, 2004 at Calvary Cemetery with Rev Thomas Liebler officiating. The family of James F. Masterson II is being served by Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield.
