James C. Suttie, 79, of Springfield, passed away on September 16, 2026 at St. John's Hospital. He was born on October 10, 1946 in Springfield to James C. Suttie Jr., and Vivian Mae West. James married Barbara Wright and she survives.
Mr. Suttie is also survived by one son James C. Suttie IV of Springfield, one daughter Kimberly Pagano of Louisville, KY., and one brother Robert Suttie.
James worked for SIU School of Medicine and for Micromedical Technonogies. He also owned Electronic Systems Computer Store.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday September 23, 2026 at Bisch and Son Funeral Home, 505 East Allen Street. The family will greet friends from 10:00am until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 12:00pm on Wednesday at Auburn Cemetery in Auburn, Illinois.
