James Allen Wheeler

James Allen Wheeler, 58, of Springfield died Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at St. John�s Hospice. He was born October 3, 1954 in Clinton, Illinois to William Allen and Carleen June Fleming Wheeler. His father and grandparents preceded him in death. Mr. Wheeler joined the Air Force and served his country during Vietnam and then joined the Illinois Air National Guard for several years. Jim married Theresa Ballinger Hauck on February 14, 1979. He was a welder for Fiat Allis, Howden Buffalo, and Simplex. Jim is survived by his wife, Theresa �Terri� of Springfield, daughter Angela L. Wheeler of Clearwater, FL; son Shawn C. (wife Jennifer) Hauck of Kentwood, MI; grandson, Carter D. Hauck of Kentwood, MI and Daniel G. Isabelle of Clearwater, FL; Mother, Carleen Wheeler of Rochester, IL; sister, Vanessa (husband Larry) Willmore, of Springfield, several uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; mother-in-law Rae Ballinger (companion Edward Morrison) of Springfield. Cremation Rites will be accorded by Cremation Services of Central Illinois, Chatham. Graveside services will be held at noon, Thursday, February 28 at Camp Butler National Cemetery with Paula Staab Polk as celebrant. The Interveteran�s Burial Detail of Sangamon County will conduct military honors. Memorial contributions may be made to help with final expenses.
