

Jean H. Hahn, 79, of Springfield died Monday, June 9, 2003 at her home. She was born April 23, 1924, in Greenfield, the daughter of Frank W. and Mona G. Henderson. She married W. Robert “Bob” Hahn in 1950 in Springfield. Mrs. Hahn was a secretary to the vice president at Sangamo Electric Company and legal secretary at the law firm of Ensel, Martin, Jones and Blanchard. She was a member of the staff of the Springfield Convention and Visitors Bureau and The Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce and retired as the assistant site manager of the Dana-Thomas House. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Springfield Art Association and served on both the Springfield Muni and The Great American People Show boards of directors. She is survived by her husband: Robert, of Springfield; one daughter: Kerry Hahn of Springfield; one son: Brent, (wife, Kim) Hahn of North Hollywood, CA; two grandchildren: Lucas and Joseph Hahn both of North Hollywood, CA; three cousins: Kay Rasmussen of LaGrange, Helen (husband, Jess) Swiney of O’Fallon, MO and Carol (husband, Peter) White, of Washington DC. Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home from 4-7:00 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2003. Memorial Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 14, 2003 at Westminster Presbyterian Church with Reverend Mark Merrill officiating. Interment will immediately follow services in the Memorial Garden at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
