Jessie Schneider

Jessie Schneider, 91, of Springfield, died at 10:15 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Lewis Memorial Christian Village. Jessie was born January 8, 1924 in Springfield, the daughter of Joseph and Clara Giombetti Rodolfi. She married Donald Schneider in 1953 in Springfield; he preceded her in death on May 31, 1992. Jessie was employed with Pillsbury Mills from 1947 to 1961 and then for Menco Corporation until her retirement in 1985. She enjoyed dancing with her husband and spending time with her family, grandchildren, and dear friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Rita, Olga, and Mary; and brothers, Joe and Gene. She is survived by her son, James "Jim" (wife, Jeanette) Schneider of Springfield; three daughters, Terrilynn (husband, Mark, Sr.) Pickford, Patricia (husband, Cameron "Gene," deceased) Parrish, and Kim (husband, Michael) Duncan of Springfield; four grandchildren, Mark, Jr., Tyler, Koy, and Ty; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Nora "Rudy" Rodolfi of E. Peoria; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation and Funeral Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the ceremony at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 23, 2015 at Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield with Rev.
