John B. Mikelonis, 54, of Springfield, died at 7:50 p.m. on Monday, October 31, 2005 at Memorial Medical Center. John was born on January 26, 1951 in Springfield, the son of Walter and Mel Dalby Mikelonis. He married Pam Page in Springfield. John was employed as a drywall finisher for Roth Construction in Chatham and previously had been employed by Jimmy Berger Drywall for several years. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister: Judith Mikelonis. He is survived by his wife, Pam Mikelonis of Springfield; three sons: John Mikelonis of North Carolina and Joshua and Jason Mikelonis both of Louisiana.; one step son: John Bileck of Springfield; one step daughter: Patty (husband, Chris) VanPelt of Springfield; eight grandchildren and two nephews. Cremation accorded by Cremation Tribute Center, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 20, 2005 at Grandview Municipal Building, 1620 Milton Ave., Springfield. The family of John B. Mikelonis is being served by Kirlin-Egan and Butler Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center.
