

John P. Yuskavich, of Springfield passed away February 5, 2001 at St. John's Hospice. He was born December 15, 1915 the son of John and Stella Kuizin Yuskavich. He married Eleanora Treinis January 8, 1939 at St.Vincent DePaul Catholic Chruch. Mr. Yuskavich served in the Army during WWII. He later became a Supervisor for the U.S. Postal Service in Springfield. He was a memeber of the Knights of Columbus #4175 Council, VFW #10302 (Northend), American Legion Post 32 and the 63rd Infantry Division Association. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife: Eleanora Yuskavich; two daughters: Mary Ann (husband, Kerry) Wycoff of Sherman, Patricia J. Towner of Springfield; two brothers: Anthony Yuskavich of Chatham, IL, George Yuskavich of Springfield; three grandchildren: Robin (husband, James) Watts of Springfield, Jason Towner and Matthew Towner all of Springfield; two great grandchildren: Jordan and Jade Watts. Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home from 4-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2001. Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Reverend Patrick Render CSV on Thursday, February 8, 2001 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery where the Sangamon County Interveterans Burial Detail will perform Memorial contributions can be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church 1345 N. 6th St., Springfield, IL 62769 and St. John's Hospice 800 E.
