Joseph Myers, 56, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday June 20, 2026 at Springfield Memorial Hospital. He was born on December 18, 1969 in Troy, New York to Raymond F. Myers and Francis J. Jastremsky Myers.
Mr. Myers is survived by his step-daughter Keslie (Matt) Kirby Parker of Alabama, two step grandchildren: Chase and Luke and one foster granddaughter Juaanna, one sister Mary (Glen) Coonradt of Troy, New York, two nieces: Ashlee and Amy Coonradt and one nephew Adam Coonradt. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren Landon and Daisy.
Joseph graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and he worked for the State of Illinois Department of Revenue. He enjoyed shopping, cooking and going to the theatre.
Cremation rites were accorded.
